Release of Debut Album - Box of Frogs (Poison)

on 4th July 2021 Abstractian release their debut album. 9 tracks of soaring and scary vocals with brutal riffs, beats and synths giving something resembling melodic progressive metal with sprinkling of vintage charm (but they will let you guys be the judge of that). The album has been a (locked down) year in the making and they are so excited to get it out into the world.
They don’t worry about genres or limits and hope that the album gives people a sense of the range of influences they all bring whether its metal, rock, blues or dance and everything in between. They believe that metal can be satirical and fun without being too naff and cheesy and wanted to walk that line on the album. They don’t want to take themselves too seriously but are serious about music and performance. The album has serious songs about grown up issues but also has fantastical songs from their influences, so whether its hard hitting reality you want or transportation into a post apocalyptic world there is a bit of a mix.
