The Curious – Gentleman [Review]
The Curious
Here’s the suave new video from 5-piece indie-alternative outfit The Curious, with their new guitar-driven track ‘Gentleman’.
Clearly created to get you up and moving, this is one for the repeat button. There’s no holding back with ‘Gentleman’, from the screaming solos and water-tight rhythms section, to the distinctly British vocal line and charismatic frontman, The Curious tick all of the right indie-rock boxes.
The video for ‘Gentleman’ is a super-cool soiree into the essence of both the song and the band, featuring iconic backdrops, sharp suits and even sharper melodies. You can tell from the slick, fun visuals that this is a band who know how to put on a show, and their live presence and potential for impulsivity shines through even in this more choreographed format.
Since forming in late 2014, the band have been playing shows around the London scene and have recorded their first EP Electric Sheep and released two music videos. Taking influence from the likes of The Killers, King of Leon and Peace to name a few, the band are currently working on their next set of songs set for release early 2018.
